Air Duct Cleaning in Northern Virginia
A whole-system clean that pulls years of dust, dander, and construction debris out of your supply and return lines — the buildup a partial, register-only clean leaves behind.

- Local crew, full-lifecycle

What's included
Here's exactly what we do.
Dust, pet dander, and drywall grit build up in the supply and return lines over the years, and a register-only clean leaves most of it behind. We clean the whole loop — supplies, returns, trunk lines, and registers — not just the few feet you can see, and we clean when there's a real reason to rather than on a fixed schedule.
- 1
Full-system inspection first
We scope the trunk lines and a sample of runs with a camera so you see the actual condition before we touch anything.
- 2
Negative-air containment
We put the system under negative pressure so dislodged debris is pulled into collection — not blown back into your rooms.
- 3
Agitate every branch
Rotating brushes and compressed-air whips scrub each supply and return line down to the register boots.
- 4
Registers, boots & blower
We clean the grilles and accessible blower compartment — the spots that quietly re-dirty a system if they're skipped.
- 5
Before-and-after proof
You get camera footage of the same runs after cleaning. No 'trust us' — you see it.
Signs you need this
If any of these sound familiar, let's talk.
- Dust reappears on surfaces within a day or two of cleaning
- Visible debris or dust puffing out of your supply registers
- Visible mold inside the ducts or on the air handler
- Musty or stale smell when the heat or AC kicks on
- You recently finished a renovation or moved into a new-to-you home
- Evidence of rodents or insects getting into the system
The full-lifecycle difference
Most companies stop at the clean. We don't.
Air Duct Cleaning is one piece of the picture. Because we own the whole lifecycle — clean, repair, re-route, install, and fan replacement — we can actually solve the problem instead of handing you a bill and a referral.

What it costs
Real prices, posted upfront.
Here's what this work runs in Northern Virginia. Every home is different, so we look at what you actually have first — then you get the exact price before we lift a tool. Here's what moves the number.
Air Duct & HVAC Cleaning

- Blower cleaning
- $150–$400
- Disinfection & sanitizing

Most homes have one HVAC system; larger homes with multiple systems are priced per system. We'll confirm what you have before quoting.
System size & number of runs
A single-zone condo is very different from a five-bed home with two air handlers. More supplies and returns means more labor.
Access & layout
Finished basements, tight crawlspaces, and hard-to-reach registers take longer to reach and protect.
Level of buildup
A first-ever cleaning in an older home is a bigger job than routine maintenance on a system we've serviced before.
Add-ons you actually need
Sanitizing or a matching dryer-vent clean are optional — we quote them separately so you decide, not us.
Air Duct Cleaning FAQ
Questions homeowners actually ask.
There's no fixed schedule — the EPA doesn't recommend cleaning on a set interval. Clean when there's a reason: visible mold in the ducts or on the air handler, rodents or insects, debris pushing out of the registers, or a renovation the system ran through. If we inspect and don't find a reason, we'll tell you.
The EPA hasn't found conclusive evidence that routine duct cleaning improves air quality or health, so we don't sell it as an allergy or health fix. We clean when there's a real reason — mold, vermin, or heavy debris from the registers — and tell you honestly when there isn't one.
No. We run the system under negative pressure and protect floors and furniture. Debris is pulled into containment, not blown around your rooms.
The core clean is mechanical — brushes and compressed air. Sanitizing agents are optional and only recommended when there's a specific mold or odor issue, never by default.
Most homes take 2–4 hours depending on the number of runs and access. We'll give you a realistic window when we quote.
Yes. We record the same runs before and after so you can see the difference for yourself. Proof is part of the job.
It's efficient to, since we're already on site with the equipment — but it's your call. We quote them separately so nothing is bundled without your say-so.
